Meet the Tennis Staff
Tennis Professionals:
Mitch Dobek returns in his fifth season as head tennis pro and will oversee our terrific Tennis program with the help of our tennis assistants. Mitch has been the head of the junior tennis program at the Field Club since 2019. He will continue working with juniors in addition to teaching adult clinics and lessons. Mitch is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a BA in Finance/Accounting. After finishing his junior career at #1 in New England, he led the SNHU tennis team to a conference championship and was awarded conference player of the year. Mitch was ranked top 180 nationally in men’s singles and competed in various countries on the ITF Futures/Challengers circuit.
Drew Van Orderlain takes on the role of the head of junior tennis. He is an active professional ITF/ATP player, has been ranked as high as #1 in New England men’s division, and is currently ranked in the top 200 on the ITF World Tour rankings. He has trained and taught at numerous tennis academies and clubs, including: the Frank Veltri Tennis Center, the Club Med Tennis Academy, the Carrington tennis academy, and GreatHorse Country Club. He has served as staff of the junior Orange Bowl and has also been a substitute pro at the Field Club.
In 2023, Ann Boisvert will be moving to a part-time role. Ann wanted to share the news with you herself in this letter.
Dear Field Club members,
I am stepping aside as FC head pro after 38 years. I always considered it a privilege to work there. I have met so many great kids and adults through the years. I will still be doing a few lessons, so I will see you on the courts.

Ann is an amazing teacher and exhibits a lot of patience and humor on the court. Ann is a graduate of Rollins College with a BA in English and Education. She has been ranked in New England in women’s singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Ann played on the Virginia Slims pro tour in 1985-86.
